Leadership (LEAD)

My first year as an Assistant Coordinator (AC) was grounded in my supervisors' intentional support as I took risks, made mistakes, exercised autonomy in decision-making, and developed the practical knowledge necessary to succeed. What began as a developmental opportunity quickly evolved into a responsibility to provide structure, trust, and vision in a space that needed it deeply. I have had the immense privilege of leading a team of exceptional RAs who recognize the value of my work and, in turn, empower me to continue growing as a practitioner and leader. Their trust in my leadership has strengthened my confidence, clarified my supervisory identity, and reinforced my commitment to relational, developmental, and value-driven leadership. This experience has not only shaped my professional competence but has fundamentally influenced how I understand my role in fostering growth, resilience, and stability within student communities.
